Trading Symbol: TSX-MTB STEWART, BC, Oct. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mountain Boy Minerals Ltd announces that assays for the first 10 holes for the 2007 drilling exploration program on the 100 % owned BA claims have been received. To date, a total of 25 holes have been completed. The BA claims are located 30 km east of Stewart in the Skeena mining division approximately 3 kilometers south of paved Highway 37A. Highlights of drilling includes 6.1 meters of 276.65 g/t silver, 1.98 % lead and 3.77 % zinc in DDH-2007-BA-2, 12.20 meters of 145.3 g/t silver, 3.13 % lead and 2.30 % zinc and 37.20 meters of 140.7 g/t silver, 2.63 % lead and 2.89 % zinc in DDH-2007-BA-5, 26.98 meters of 99.03 g/t silver, 1.16 % lead and 3.72% zinc in DDH-2007-BA-9 and 15.24 meters of 52.91 g/t silver, 1.01 % lead and 5.73 % zinc in DDH-BA-2007-10. The first drill completed 19 holes in a grid pattern measuring 15 by 15 meters in order to provide close spaced data on the west limb of the mineralization along an anticline. This drill has been moved 150 meters northeast to test the east limb of this same anticline. A second rig located several hundred meters south of the above initial drilling has been coring low angle holes in order to test for the zone beneath a steep mountain. This drilling has been successful in extending mineralization into an area with no exposure. The mineralized zone is located in the upper parts of Bear Glacier within the same stratigraphic horizon as that which hosts the Eskay Creek deposit. The company believes that the zone represents a portion of a Kuroko-type volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) system composed of an exhalite horizon with related zinc-lead-silver mineralization. Mineralization occurs below the main exhalite horizon and is located within mudstones, mudstone breccias and dacite breccias. Mineralized rocks are at least 40 meters to 50 meters wide and mineralization can be traced for over 1 kilometer of strike length and is open along strike and to depth. In general, silver values appear to be enhanced in areas with elevated copper values especially in DDH-2007-BA-4 where 164 g/t silver was intersected over 19.81 meters with copper values increasing from 0.005 % to approximately 0.1 % in the silver enriched portion. Assays received for drill hole BA-2007-1-10 with assay results greater than 1 % zinc are listed in the table below: ------------------------------------------------------------- DDH From To Width Ag
