Jefferson Security Bank Declares Dividend for the Second Half of 2009

The Board of Directors of Jefferson Security Bank (OTCBB: JFWV), at its December 16, 2009 meeting, declared a cash dividend of $0.30 per share for the second half of 2009 to be paid on January 15, 2010 to shareholders of record on December 31, 2009. The decision was made to reduce the dividend due to reduced earnings; however, the Bank believes the payout ratio for 2009 will be approximately 45% of net income and should remain consistent with the payout ratio of prior years. In view of the economic conditions in the market served by Jefferson Security Bank and the current regulatory environment, the Board of Directors believes it is in the best interest of the Bank and its shareholders to reduce the dividend at this time.
