SPRINGFIELD, Va., Aug. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Isomet Corporation (Pink Sheets: IOMT) announced today for the second quarter of 2006 consolidated net revenue of $874,000 compared with $1,066,000 in 2005. A consolidated net loss of $(118,000) or $(.06) per share was incurred in the second quarter compared to a net loss of $(90,000), or $(.04) per share in 2005.
For the six months ended June 30, 2006, consolidated net revenue was $3,345,000 compared with $1,899,000 in 2005. The six month revenue total for 2006 includes $1,500,000 from proceeds of key-man life insurance coverage. Without this amount, revenue from operations was $1,845,000. The six month revenue total for 2005 includes $30,000 from a reduction in a previously established loss provision. Including the $1,500,000 non-recurring proceeds referred to above, net income in the first six months of 2006 was $1,303,000, or $.64 per share, compared to a net loss in the same period of 2005 of $(285,000), or $(.14) per share. Without the $1,500,000 non-recurring income amount, a net loss of $(197,000), or $(.10) per share was incurred in the current six month period.
Receipt of new orders for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 and 2005 was $1,240,000 and $875,000, respectively. Receipt of new orders for the six months ended June 30, 2006 and 2005 was $2,081,000 and 2,091,000, respectively. Unfilled orders totaled $1,065,000 and $750,000, respectively, as of June 30, 2006 and 2005.
