SPRINGFIELD, Va., Aug. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Isomet Corporation (Pink Sheets: IOMT) announced today for the second quarter of 2005 consolidated net revenue of $1,066,000, compared with $785,000 in 2004. A consolidated net loss of $(90,000) or $(.04) per share was incurred in the second quarter compared to a net loss of $(206,000), or $(.10) per share in 2004.
For the six months ended June 30, 2005, consolidated net revenue was $1,899,000 compared with $l,935,000 in 2004. Revenue for the first six months of 2004 includes a non-recurring sale to a previous systems customer totaling $394,000. In the first six months of 2005 sales were broadly based and none were of a non-recurring nature. For the current six month period a consolidated net loss of $(285,000), or $(.14) per share was incurred, compared to a net loss of $(388,000), or $(.20) per share in 2004.
Receipt of new orders for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 and 2004 was $875,000 and $1,104,000, respectively. Receipt of new orders for the six months ended June 30, 2005 and 2004 was $2,091,000 and $2,031,000, respectively. The new order total for the first six months of 2004 includes $394,000 of non-recurring orders from a previous systems customer. New orders in the first six months of 2005 were broadly based and none were of a non- recurring nature. Unfilled orders totaled $750,000 and $812,000, respectively, as of June 30, 2005 and 2004.
