INCEPTION MINING INC. Commences NI 43-101 Resource

SALT LAKE CITY, UT-(Marketwired - Sep 26, 2016) - INCEPTION MINING INC. (OTCQB: IMII) ("Inception" or the "Company") announced today that it has engaged Precision GeoSolutions LLC to complete a mineral resource estimate and NI 43-101 technical report for its Cerros del Sur operation in Honduras, the principal operation of the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Clavo Rico Ltd.

The Company, through its subsidiaries, embarked on a drilling program to investigate the properties following a merger with Clavo Rico Ltd. in October 2015. The results indicate a sulfide-based ore body, overlaid by an oxide ore zone. Significant resource data is available, including analytical results for over 70 drill cores and numerous surface samples. Analysis of newly-drilled cores is also in-progress for assimilation into the 43-101 report.

Precision GeoSolutions LLC is a geologic consulting firm headed by J. Brian Mahoney, Ph.D. Dr. Mahoney has extensive academic and industry experience - more than 25 years - in geologic mapping, stratigraphic and structural analyses, and mineral exploration in the western United States, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, and Ethiopia. Dr. Mahoney will use his experience to provide a detailed geologic analysis and resource evaluation of the Clavo Rico project.
