Informa On Track to Deliver Full-Year Growth in Earnings

LONDON--Informa PLC (INF.LN), a business events and publishing company, said Thursday that it is on track to deliver full-year growth in revenue, earnings and dividends and added that its medium-term growth acceleration plan continues.

In the global exhibitions division, the company said that more than 45% of annual revenue across its portfolio has already traded and it remains confident of delivering another year of strong organic growth in 2016.

Within the business intelligence division, the focus on subscription management and customer retention continues to deliver results, with further year-on-year growth in annualized contract values and average renewal rates approaching 90%, the company said.

In academic publishing, the company saw a consistent performance in academic journals and continued strength in e-books has been balanced by ongoing softness in physical books, Informa said.

In knowledge and networking, the launch of a simplified operating model is driving momentum, particularly amongst large, branded events, Informa added.
