ISA's New Technical Center to be headed by Cesar A. Ram?rez R.

 

C?sar Augusto Ram?rez Rojas, current president of Compa??a de Transmisi?n de Energ?a El?ctrica Paulista ?CTEEP?, has been invited to head ISA's new Technical Center, one of the strategic areas of the company established in the framework of its current strategic updating process.

The designation is recognition to the expertise of engineer Ram?rez acquired along its career at ISA and resulting from his outstanding performance in technical, administrative and strategic areas and the direction given to subsidiary CTEEP during the last five years.

The resignation of current CTEEP's president will be presented officially in the next Administration Council, in October, when the company's new president will also be announced.  Until that date, Mr. Ram?rez will exercise the normal functions required by his current position.

The strategic updating process, in which the invitation to CTEEP's president is framed, has made possible for ISA to analyze the environment and seek strategic alternatives that permit anticipate demands in an ever more globalized and competitive world.  This initiative is based on growth, efficiency and investment portfolio optimization pillars, for which the Corporate Technical Center will be fundamental.
