HyPower Fuel Files Additional Biodiesel Patents to Protect Its Green Technology

  HyPower Fuel Inc. (PINKSHEETS: HYPF) today
announced that it has filed for patent pending status in numerous
additional countries to protect its novel, waterless biodiesel production
process.  The patent protection is being pursued in order to allow HyPower
to formalize and execute its comprehensive worldwide sales and marketing
strategy for the process.

HyPower has filed for patent protection in all primary biodiesel producing countries including South Korea, Malaysia, China, Indonesia, India, Canada, United States of America, Brazil, Croatia and Europe. The protection sought under the European Patent Cooperation Treaty is unique in that it potentially covers multiple countries in the European Union. Translation of patents into a number of languages is being undertaken as part of the patent application process.
