Canadian Poker Tour Installs New Canadian Management Team

HeadsUp Entertainment International Inc. (Pink Sheets:HDUP) is pleased to announce that it has hired and installed Dan Forigo as President of Canadian Poker Tour Inc. a newly formed wholly owned subsidiary to consolidate the Canadian operations of its poker business. Mr. Forigo will be responsible for the re-launch of the company's marketing model to take better advantage of changing market opportunities that have arisen in Canada. In addition, a sales and marketing team has been positioned in Ontario and B.C. to expand the CPT brand, magazine distribution and tournament model as well as building the new televised tournament series that begins production this fall.

With the recent announcement of the expansion of operations into the US marketplace, the Board of Directors identified the need for a highly focused marketing team to quickly be installed and pursue growth opportunities that have arisen since the shut down of a number of US online poker sites that are driving demand to casino based tournaments throughout North America. Management believes that revenues from its Canadian operations will more than triple in 2011 and that growth is expected to continue in 2012.

"We have a tremendous amount of work to do very quickly," commented new CPT President Forigo. "The brand has a solid foundation but it is now time to furnish the mansion atop it." With the addition of new sponsors, like the recently announced deal with Poker Tax Recovery and a new monetization model for its casino tournament partnerships, management believes that they will be able to strongly contribute bottom line results towards increased shareholder value.
