Green Globe Capital Partners Announces Green Globe Trademark Registration in China

Green Globe International, Inc. (OTC: GGII), doing business as Green Globe Capital Partners, today announced that Green Globe Ltd., the UK corporation that owns the Green Globe brand, has received the registration certificate from China’s trademark registry, which is valid until December 13, 2020. Green Globe Ltd. was recently notified by Wallace LLP, its UK based legal counsel, that the stamped trademark registration had been received from China’s State Trademark Office. The trademark certificate will be included on the new Green Globe Ltd. website that is expected to be launched in the coming weeks.

“The trademark registration further secures Green Globe’s long history in China and its right to trade freely,” stated Steven Peacock, Managing Director of Green Globe Ltd. “We currently have two existing certification licensees with non-exclusive rights to operate in the Asia market, including China. It is our intention to rectify any confusion in the marketplace by exercising our option under the license agreement with Green Globe Asia Pacific, so that by June 2012 or sooner, Green Globe Ltd. would have only one global certification licensee for the travel and tourism sector.”
