Over 5,000 Reggae Fans Expected to Attend This Year's Event

The Vintage Music Fest will be held at the Bergeron Rodeo Grounds in Davie, Florida, just outside of Ft. Lauderdale.  Last year's event was host to more than 5,000 reggae, rock steady and ska music fans.

This year, the Jamaica Vintage Music Festival will feature the creators of ska music, the legendary Skatalites, and will also spotlight a group that has influenced Jamaica's popular music, the fantastic Stylistics.  The event will also include: Coco Tea, The Mighty Diamonds, rock steady superstar Pat Kelly, Norma Fraser, ska queen Doreen Shafer, Miss "Breakfast in Bed" Lorna Bennett, Cabaret queen Gem Myers, Reggae crooner Ernie Smith, original dancehall guru Charlie Chaplin, and The Fabulous 5.
