Global Digital Solutions Receives $6 Million in New Bid Requests for Major Initiatives in California

FOLSOM, Calif., May 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Digital Solutions (GDSI.PK) announced today that the company has received 4 separate bid requests for work with the Central Valley Independent Network (CVIN) (3) and the city of Richmond, California (1). For strategic reasons, the company is not revealing the source of the final bid request.

The Central Valley Independent Network (CVIN) is a consortium of affiliates of independent telephone companies in central and northern California that has begun construction on a new network that is expected to provide broadband access to 1,973 communities in California's Central Valley area.
