PALM BEACH, Fla., Sept. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Digital Solutions, Inc. (OTCQB:GDSI), a company that is positioning itself as a leader in providing cyber arms technology and complementary security and technology-related solutions, today announced the appointment – effective September 18, 2014 – of Harold P. "Skip" Lee as Vice President of Finance at North American Custom Specialty Vehicles, LLC (NACSV).   

On June 18, 2014, GDSI announced the acquisition of NACSV, a leading builder of mobile command/communications and specialty vehicles for emergency management, first responders, national security and law enforcement operations.

Skip Lee has substantial senior finance, marketing and operations management experience in Fortune 500 and smaller firms spanning the United States, Far East, European and Mexican business environments. For nearly twenty years, Skip Lee has served as President of HPL, Inc., consulting companies and individuals in the areas of start-up financing and controls, budgeting, long and short range planning, acquisitions and divestitures. 

Mr. Lee also served as Vice President and Corporate Controller at MPM Technologies, Inc (MPML), a NASDAQ listed global manufacturer of Air Pollution Control equipment. In addition to several additional corporate controller and finance positions, Mr. Lee spent ten years with Timex Corporation, Inc., serving as Corporate Director of Planning & Analysis, Chief Financial Officer (Far East) and Director - Budgeting and Reporting (Electronics Group).

Mr. Lee received an MBA degree in Finance from Iona College and a BS degree in Accounting from the University of Dayton. He serves in the US Coast Guard Reserve and is a FFL & Class III Firearms Dealer.
