Freeze Tag Acquires Cross-Platform Technology Framework, Announces Stock Trading on OTCBB

Freeze Tag (OTCBB: FRZT), a leading creator of family-friendly video games, has acquired the rights to a technology framework that enables the Company to rapidly port PC/Mac games to iOS and Android platforms, thus reducing development costs and time-to-market for the smartphone and media tablet markets.

“This framework allows us to develop once on the PC,” said Craig Holland, CEO of Freeze Tag. “Then from the same code base, we can create iOS and Android versions of our games and tap into these high growth markets.”

Smartphone and media tablet sales continue to increase as consumers snap up iPhones, iPads and Android devices. According to research firm Gartner, sales of media tablets that operate on the iOS (Apple) and Android (Google) operating systems will grow from 17 million units in 2010 to over 251 million units in 2015. A recent study released by Google’s AdMob found that “gaming” was the number one activity on media tablets, with 84% of the tablet owners polled indicating they used their device for playing games.

“With brilliant color displays and interactive touch screens,” said Holland, “smartphones and media tablets are ideal gaming devices.”

Freeze Tag also announced the trading of its stock on the OTCBB. The company’s symbol is FRZT.
