VANCOUVER, May 26  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- County Line Energy Corp. "CYLC.PK" (the "Company") announces that effective May 15, 2006, it has completed an eight-for-one split of its issued and outstanding common stock and change of its name from County Line Resources Inc. to County Line Energy Corp. As a result of the stock split, the Company's authorized capital has increased from 100,000,000 shares of common stock with a par value of $0.001 per share, of which 5,496,438 shares were issued and outstanding, to 800,000,000 shares of common stock with a par value of $0.001 per share, of which 43,971,504 are issued and outstanding.

As a result of the stock split and name change, the symbol under which the company's shares trade on the OTC Pink Sheets has been changed from "CYLR" to "CYLC", effective open of business on May 15, 2006.

A letter of transmittal for exchange of share certificates will be mailed to the shareholders of the Company.
