IPG Photonics, TreeHouse Foods Set to Join the S&P MidCap 400; OFG Bancorp to Join the S&P SmallCap 600

NEW YORK, Dec. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- S&P Dow Jones Indices will make the following changes to the S&P MidCap 400 and S&P SmallCap 600 indices:

• IPG Photonics Corp. (NASD: IPGP) will replace Compuware Corp. (NASD: CPWR) in the S&P MidCap 400 after the close of trading on Monday, December 8. Private equity firm Thoma Bravo is acquiring Compuware in a deal expected to be completed soon, pending final approvals.
• S&P SmallCap 600 constituent TreeHouse Foods Inc. (NYSE: THS) will replace Conversant Inc. (NASD: CNVR) in the S&P MidCap 400, and OFG Bancorp (NYSE: OFG) will replace TreeHouse Foods in the S&P SmallCap 600 after the close of trading on Tuesday, December 9. S&P 500 constituent Alliance Data Systems Corp. (NYSE: ADS) is acquiring Conversant in a deal expected to be completed soon, pending final approvals.

IPG Photonics develops and manufactures fiber lasers, fiber amplifiers, and diode lasers.  Headquartered in Oxford, MA, the company will be added to the S&P MidCap 400 GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard) Electronic Manufacturing Services Sub-Industry index.

TreeHouse Foods operates as a food manufacturer. Headquartered in Oak Brook, IL, the company will be added to the S&P MidCap 400 Packaged Foods & Meats Sub-Industry index.

OFG Bancorp provides various banking and financial services. Headquartered in San Juan, PR, the company will be added to the S&P SmallCap 600 GICS Regional Banks Sub-Industry index.
