Compagnie de Saint-Gobain SA (SGO.FR) said Thursday that it has entered into exclusive talks with Groupe Frans Bonhomme to sell French concrete-products distribution business Distribution de Materiaux pour les Travaux Publics.
The potential sale is for an enterprise value of 70 million euros ($78.5 million). DMTP reported close to EUR250 million in sales and close to EUR3 million in operating income in 2018, Saint-Gobain said.
The planned divestment could be completed during the fourth quarter of 2019 or first quarter of 2020, subject to approval from antitrust authorities and consultation with workers' representatives, it said.
