UBS AG (UBS) has transferred control of the Dow Jones-UBS Commodity Index to Bloomberg LP, the Financial Times reported Wednesday.

Bloomberg will handle governance, calculation, distribution and licensing for the index, which will be renamed the Bloomberg Commodity Index, the FT reported.

UBS hasn't sold the index or its intellectual property, the FT reported. The bank is paying a marketing and administration fee to Bloomberg, according to the report.
