AmeraMex International Receives Equipment Orders Totaling $925,000

AmeraMex International, Inc.

 (OTC:AMMX), a provider of heavy equipment for logistics companies (stevedoring/shipping), infrastructure construction, commercial farming and mining companies, announced that it has received multiple equipment orders totaling approximately $925,000.

The first order for refurbished loaded container handlers accounted for $400,000. The handlers are in inventory and will ship in two weeks to a customer in Mexico. An additional order for a refurbished loaded container handler, which accounted for $175,000, will ship to a second customer also in Mexico. AmeraMex CEO Lee Hamre commented, "We are also pleased to receive a $350,000 order for new high capacity forklifts going one of our sawmill customers here in Northern California.   This is a strong indication that the core business we lost in the 2008 down-turn of the economy is beginning to experience growth." 

Hamre continued, "While new equipment doesn't carry the margins of refurbished used equipment, it does give us the opportunity to purchase the old equipment from our customers, refurbish it and resell to other customers in the U.S. or internationally. It is a win, win for all."

The company also announced that management will be leaving March 19, 2014 for Niger to discuss infrastructure projects.
