Barclays PLC (BCS) said late Tuesday it will carry out a private placement with qualified investors of some 30.6 million shares, or 6.84% of Amadeus IT Holding SA (AMS.MC), through its investment bank unit, Barclays Capital.
In a filing to the Spanish stock market regulator, the bank said the placement will be carried out through an accelerated bookbuilding offer and will take no longer than one day to complete.
Amadeus shares closed Tuesday at EUR13.12.
In July, a group of Amadeus shareholders led by Cinven Ltd and BC Partners Ltd sold a 9.2% stake in the Spanish travel technology provider for EUR569.9 million.
