Waymar Resources Ltd. Announces New Director and Officer Appointments

Waymar Resources Ltd. ("Waymar") (TSX VENTURE:WYM) is pleased to announce that
Mr. Steven Mintz has been appointed as the new President and Chief Executive
Officer of Waymar and Mr. Gerry Feldman has been appointed as the new Chief
Financial Officer of Waymar. 


Mr. Mintz has served as President of St. Germain Capital Corp., a Toronto-based
consulting company since 1998, and as President of Carex Capital Corp., a
consulting company providing services to charitable organizations, since 2008.
Mr. Mintz currently also serves as a director of Brownstone Ventures Inc.
(TSXV:BWN) and as a director of Carlisle Goldfields Limited, and has previously
served as a director and/or officer of various other public companies including
Bridgeport Ventures Inc. (TSXV:BPV), Fareport Capital Inc. (TSXV:FPC), Carma
Financial Services Corporation (TSXV:CFS) and E21 Group Inc. (TSX: YEP). Mr.
Mintz holds a Chartered Accountant designation, as well as a B.A. in Economics
and Accounting from the University of Toronto. 


Until joining Waymar, Mr Feldman has been a partner of a number of public
accounting firms since 1991 specializing in audits of public companies and
brokerage firms. He is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Brownstone
Ventures Inc (BWN- TSX-V) and a director of a number of other listed companies
including Pinetree Capital Inc. ( PNP- TSX).


In other news, Waymar is also pleased to announce that Messrs. David Schmidt,
Howard Hanick and Gerry Feldman have been appointed as directors of Waymar to
fill casual vacancies resulting from the resignations of Messrs. Rowland
Perkins, Kurt Bordian and J. Stephen Barley from the board. 


Mr. Schmidt completed his Bachelor of Applied Science (Mining) at the University
of British Columbia in May 2000 and since then has been working as a
self-employed consultant to mineral exploration companies. He assists with
financings, corporate and financial disclosure and corporate development. Mr.
Schmidt is also currently a director and the President of Newmac Resources Inc
(TSX-V: NER), a director and Chief Executive Officer of GFE Capital Corp (TSX-V:
GFC), a director of Tova Ventures Inc. (TSX-V: TOV.P), and Sieger Capital
Management Ltd. (TSX-V: SIE.P).


Mr. Hanick most recently served as a consultant to St. Joseph Content,
responsible for acquisition integration. From 2003 to 2008 Mr. Hanick was the
President and owner of CMI Canada Inc., a full service content creation company
specializing in retail flyer production and catalogs. From 2001 to 2003, Mr.
Hanick served as Chief Financial Officer of Communicorp Corp. (CUC;TSX). Mr.
Hanick has previously served as an officer and director of several public
companies including Pinetree Capital Corp (PNP;TSX) and Brownstone Ventures Inc
(BWN; TSXV) from 1993 to 1999. Mr. Hanick holds a Chartered Accountant
designation, as well as a B.A. in Commerce from the University of Toronto.


The director and officer appointments noted above remain subject to TSX Venture
Exchange approval. At this time, Waymar also wishes to extend its best wishes to
outgoing President, Chief Executive Officer and director J. Stephen Barley,
outgoing Chief Financial Officer Kathleen Butt, and outgoing directors Rowland
Perkins and Kurt Bordian, and wishes to thank each of them for their
