Williams Creek Explorations Limited Reports on New Equity Issue

Williams Creek Explorations Limited (TSX VENTURE:WCX) ("the Company," "WCX," or
"Williams Creek") reports that it has received conditional approval from the
TSX-Venture Exchange of an offering to issue up to 20,000,000 shares at a price
of 0.15 CAD per share (the "Offering"). Closing of the Offering is anticipated
to be on or about September 10, 2010.


"The management of WCX is encouraged by the response that the Company has been
receiving in the market," said Chairman and CEO Michael Sonnenreich. "Amidst
volatility in global markets and weakness in the world economy, the management
of Williams Creek remains confident in the Company's business strategy, namely,
exploration of precious metals properties in Canada and participation in the
gold market via joint venture and other equity investments, financing and
royalty agreements."
