Williams Creek Explorations Limited Announces Exploration Program

   Williams Creek Explorations Limited (TSX VENTURE: WCX) (the "Company," "WCX," or "Williams Creek") is pleased to announce that it will undertake a comprehensive exploration program, including a drilling program, on its Crown Granted mineral claims in the Barkerville, BC area during the spring and summer of 2011. The Board of Directors of Williams Creek unanimously approved the program at its meeting on Friday, January 28, 2011.

The exploration program will comprise a two-phase drilling program coupled with a concurrent surface exploration program consisting of a trenching program, supplemental geologic mapping, geochemical analysis, and other geologic analysis.

Childs Geoscience, Inc. of Bozeman, MT, is acting as the consulting geologist on the project, and John Childs, PhD. will act as the Qualified Person under the definition of National Instrument 43-101. Drilling will be conducted by Hardcore Drilling Ltd. out of Penticton, BC.

Permits for drilling have already been received from the BC Ministry of Natural Resource Operations. The exploration program is fully funded. Funds raised by Williams Creek via the offering of Flow Through Shares that closed on December 24, 2010 will cover the majority of the exploration program's expenses.
