WOOD COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGIES INC. TO EXPLORE STRATEGIC ALTERNATIVES TO MAXIMIZE SHAREHOLDER VALUE

NISKU, AB, Oct. 1 /CNW/ -- NISKU, AB, Oct. 1 /CNW/ - Wood Composite Technologies Inc. (TSX-V: WCT) (the "Company") announced that its Board of Directors has authorized management to begin identifying and evaluating a range of strategic alternatives aimed at maximizing shareholder value. The Company's management will complete the process, using outside advisors as it deems necessary but has not engaged financial advisors for this process at this time. To date, no decisions have been reached with respect to any particular alternative. The Company cautions that there can be no assurance that the process will result in a transaction.
The Company will not disclose further developments regarding this review process unless and until its Board of Directors has approved a specific transaction or it deems additional disclosure appropriate or necessary.
