Waratah Coal Inc.: ASX Listing Date Confirmed-Monday, November 10, 2008

  Waratah Coal Inc. (TSX VENTURE: WCI) (Waratah) advises that, having met ASX Limited's ("ASX") pre-admission conditions, Waratah was admitted to the official list of ASX on November 6, 2008.

Waratah's common shares, traded via CDI's (CHESS Depository Interests) will commence trading on the ASX at 10.30am (upon official quotation of CDI's) on Monday, November 10, 2008 (Sydney, Australia time).

Procedures for shareholders wishing to transfer shares (either way) between the Canadian and Australian Registers are set out on Waratah's website www.waratahcoal.com.
