STOCKHOLM--Assa Abloy AB said Monday that it has agreed to acquire Vigil Health Solutions Inc., a Canadian provider of call systems and resident monitoring solutions for senior living communities.
Vigil sales for 2020 amounted to about C$6 million ($4.8 million) and the acquisition will be accretive to EPS from the start, Assa Abloy said.
Vigil was established in 1998 and has some 30 employees. It is headquartered in Victoria, Canada and listed on the TSX Venture Exchange.
The Swedish lock maker said the acquisition is expected to close during the first quarter of 2022.
Financial terms weren't disclosed.
