Nevado Resources Corporation: Change in the Board of Directors and Senior Management

   NEVADO RESOURCES CORPORATION (TSX VENTURE: VDO)(FRANKFURT: NSV) (the "Corporation" or "Nevado") announces the appointment of Mr. Michael Curtis as the new acting President and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation.

Mr. Curtis has over 35 years experience in the management of public companies and in the financial and mining industries in Canada. "Nevado has completed important milestones since its listing on the TSX Venture Exchange; Mr. Curtis' experience and knowledge of the financial and mining fields will allow the Corporation to ensure the achievement of its global development strategy and to realize the full potential of the resources of Nevado's properties", said the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Philippe Frere. Mr. Curtis was also involved in numerous projects in the public domain, including the merger of Bowood Energy Inc. (BWD), and is a board member of several public corporations.

Mr. Guy Girard has decided to step aside as member of the senior management and the Board of Directors of the Corporation.

Following his resignation as a director and President of the Corporation, Mr. Girard will focus on the pursuit of his other projects.
