ValGold Announces New Directors

ValGold Resources Ltd. ("ValGold") (TSX VENTURE:VAL)(FRANKFURT:VR2) is pleased
to announce that Rod Whyte and Charles Parsons have joined its Board of
Directors. Together with incumbent directors; Sargent Berner, Dr. A. Darryl
Drummond, Kenneth Yurichuk and Stephen Wilkinson, Messrs. Whyte and Parsons were
elected by an overwhelming majority (greater than 99%) of the shares voted at
ValGold's AGM held on June 19th, 2012. 


Mr. Whyte brings more than 40 years of practical experience in the natural
resource sector and in emerging markets and has been a ValGold shareholder for
many years. 


Mr. Parsons is a Chartered Accountant with considerable experience in the junior
mining sector and has participated on audit committees over his career. Mr.
Parsons also has considerable experience working within the former CIS.


"We look forward to valuable contributions to our Company from Rod and Charles
as we advance our overseas gold projects," commented Sargent Berner, ValGold's
Chairman. "Their experience of Russia and the Baltic States should benefit
ValGold."


ValGold would also like to recognize the contributions of our former directors,
William Witte and Michael Sadhra who did not stand for re-election at the AGM.
