Tanganyika Announces Conditional Approval of Graduation to the Toronto Stock Exchange

Tanganyika Oil Company Ltd. ("Tanganyika" or the "Company") (TSX
VENTURE:TYK)(OMX:TYKS) is pleased to announce that it has received conditional
approval from the Toronto Stock Exchange ("TSX") on its application for
graduation from the TSX Venture Exchange ("TSXV") to the TSX. The Company is
currently in the process of forwarding documentation to satisfy remaining
requirements of the TSX. Tanganyika's common shares will be delisted from the
TSXV concurrent with the commencement of trading on the TSX.
