Terra Energy to Commence Trading on the TSX June 1, 2009

Terra Energy Corp. ("Terra Energy" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:TTR) announces
that its common shares will begin trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange (the
"TSX") as of the market opening on Monday, June 1, 2009. The common shares of
the Company will trade under the symbol 'TT'. Terra Energy's common shares will
be delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange in conjunction with the TSX listing.


Terra Energy is a junior oil and gas company engaged in the exploration for, and
development and production of, natural gas and oil in Western Canada.
