TAD Mineral Exploration Inc.: Phase One of Drill Program Successfully Completed

TAD Mineral Exploration Inc. ("TAD") (TSX VENTURE:TJ) wishes to announce that
phase one of the diamond drilling program on the Hazelton South Property has
been completed. Drill holes were oriented perpendicular to the strike of the
inferred vein systems in a fence pattern spaced at 25 meter intervals to define
the extension of known surface mineralization at depth.

Type 1 & 2 quartz-carbonate-sulphide fissure veins occur along sub-vertically
oriented fault and shear zones dipping -60 to -80 degrees east. Zones with
quartz veining were intersected in all eight drill holes. The shear zones and
faulting are sub-vertical and the angle holes were successful in intersecting
these zones.

Preliminary results from DDH-1 have been received and returned 196.8 ppm Cu,
3475 ppm Pb, greater than 10,000 ppm Zn, greater than 100 ppm Ag, and 1242.2 ppb
Au over 0.61 meters at a depth of 48.37 meters. The type 2 fissure vein
intersected is interpreted as the extension of surface mineralization located in
the trench 22 meters east of the drill collar. This intercept displays a lateral
vein extension of 34.14 meters from surface. Trench samples from this area of
the vein system returned values of 339 ppm Cu, 355 ppm Pb, 584 ppm Zn, and 3527
ppb Au.

A total of 176 samples have been submitted to Acme labs of Vancouver, BC and
results are expected within the next two weeks.

Jason Gigliotti, a director of TAD, stated "We are please with the preliminary
results attained to date. We look forward to receiving all the assays back which
will assist in the next phase of drilling."

Andris Kikauka, P.Geo. is the Qualified Person for the Hazelton Prospect and has
read and authorized this news release.
