Tonbridge Power Names Veteran Energy and Project Finance Executive to Its Board of Directors

Tonbridge Power Inc. (TSX VENTURE:TBZ), ("Tonbridge Power" or the "Company"),
100% controlling shareholder of the Montana Alberta Tie Ltd. ("MATL")
transmission line project to interconnect the electricity markets of Alberta and
the US through a 300 MW transmission line is pleased to announce that Philip
Kassin has been named a member of the board of directors of Tonbridge Power Inc.
Mr. Kassin is a deeply experienced investment banker in the fields of energy
finance and Merger's and Acquisitions and currently holds the position of
Executive Vice President and head of M & A and Financing at Access Industries,
one of the world's largest privately held industrial holding companies with
major holdings in natural resources and chemicals.


Mr. Kassin currently serves on the Supervisory Board of LyondellBasell
Industries N.V., the worlds third largest chemical company and has served on its
predecessor Boards since 2005. Mr. Kassin is also a director of Boomerang Tube,
LLC, an oil country tubular goods manufacturer and Prochemie GmbH. Prior to
joining Access, Mr. Kassin was the President of Greenwich Energy Advisors, Ltd.,
a financial advisory firm focusing on petrochemical and energy asset
acquisitions, divestitures and restructurings. Mr. Kassin has over 25 years of
investment banking and capital markets experience having served in a variety of
roles at Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs. He was also a Partner
at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was responsible for its energy M&A
consulting practice and a utilities analyst at Standard & Poor's Corporation.
