SANTA ROSA, CA, Nov. 10, 2016 /CNW/ - Health Services Integration ("HSI") a leader in Emergency Medical Services ("EMS") revenue cycle management ("RCM") industry, in its pursuit of world class execution, is announcing the return of Joanne Alvarado as HSI's Director of Revenue Cycle Management for the air division.

Joanne Alvarado is now back at the helm of HSI's Air Revenue Cycle Management team.  Joanne brings with her two decades of experience in collections and accounts receivables management with a dozen of those years specifically in air medical transportation collections with HSI.  With expertise in workers' compensation and commercial insurance claims management, Joanne has a solid track record getting claims paid.  During the year while she was away from HSI, Joanne continued to keep her skills sharp as she consulted on air revenue cycle management, billing operations process improvement and resource management.

"I am pleased with Joanne's return to HSI," commented Marc Mariani, HSI's Chief Operating Officer, "Joanne thoroughly understands the complicated air medical transportation reimbursement market and aggressively fights as a patient advocate to get insurances to pay correctly and in a timely manner.  She knows how to lead her team to get positive results for our clients."

When asked about her return to HSI, Joanne shared, "I am at my best when I am hands-on leading a team to maximize collections on behalf of our clients.  I thrive on advocating for our clients and their patients as I believe in their emergency medical services missions.  Fine tuning processes that maximize efficiency and also enable timely and correct collections is a challenge that motivates me.  I am thrilled to be back at HSI managing the air revenue cycle management team."
