Spider Resources Inc.: Grant of Stock Options

Spider Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SPQ) "Spider", Toronto, Ontario announces
that it has granted pursuant to Spider's incentive stock option plan a total of
7,100,000 incentive stock options to directors, officers and consultants of
Spider exercisable over a five-year period expiring April 21, 2014, at a price
of $0.10 per share. The options entitle each optionee to acquire one common
share of Spider. The common shares of Spider closed on April 20, 2009 on the TSX
Venture Exchange at a price of $0.035 per common share.
