Soho Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:SOH) ("Soho" or the "Company"), is pleased to announce that Falcon Drilling ("Falcon") has commenced drilling hole DDH08-141 on the Cinco De Mayo Structure at the Tahuehueto Project in Durango State, Mexico. Falcon was contracted by the Company in December 2007 (See News Release dated Dec 5, 2007) to provide diamond drilling services for a minimum 5,000 metres of core drilling. Falcon has advised the Company that they expect to provide one additional drill rig for the project in approximately one month, such that Falcon would be operating two core rigs at Tahuehueto. Soho has completed three drill holes with a drill rig operated by Tecmin Servicios S.A. de C.V. since the project start up in early January after the Christmas break. One hole was completed on the El Creston structure and two on the Texcalama structure. The Company's own light weight fly capable drill rig, after a lengthy wait for replacement repair parts, is in the final stages of repair and is expected to be operational next week and after successful operational testing will be returned to site to complete the remaining holes planned for the road inaccessible area of El Creston Zone. Drill core samples for 7 holes, DDH07-127 and DDH07-132 through DDH08-137 inclusive, have been submitted to the lab for analysis and results are expected shortly. Drill core for three holes, DDH08-138 through DDH08-140 are either in preparation for shipment, or are in transit to ALS Chemex' preparation facility in Guadalajara, Mexico, where resulting pulps will be shipped by ALS Chemex to their analytical laboratory in Lima, Peru, where final analysis is conducted. Work on the resources calculation by the independent engineering group, Mine Development Associates, is progressing and the Company is on track for the delivery of its first NI 43-101 resource near the end of the first quarter of 2008. The exploration program at Tahuehueto is being conducted under the direction of Hall Stewart, P.Geo., a qualified geologist as defined under National Instrument 43-101. Mr. Ralph Shearing, P.Geol. also a qualified geologist, authored and is responsible for the content of this press release.
