Soho Announces Results of Annual General Meeting

Soho Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:SOH) ("Soho" or the "Company") is pleased to
announce the results of the Company's annual meeting held on Tuesday, July 21,
2009.


Incumbent Directors Ralph Shearing, P.Geol., William (Bill) Howald, B.Sc., Art
Freeze, P.Geo., Yao Sun, B.Comm and Lianxi Zhang, B.Sc. were all elected to the
Board for another year. Mr. Paul Chung, MBA was also reappointed to the Board
after temporarily stepping down earlier this year (see February 11, 2009 news
release: http://www.sohoresources.ca/news_view.php?id=15).


Shareholders also approved the appointment of Davidson & Company as auditors for
the Corporation and the adoption of the 2009 Stock Option Plan. In addition, a
resolution authorizing the company to re-price certain stock options was passed
by way of disinterested shareholder approval by a margin of 91.57% on a total of
31,617,540 votes cast.


At the Company's post AGM board meeting the following were appointed as officers
of the Company. Mr. Ralph Shearing as CEO/President and Corporate Secretary, Mr.
Don Crossley as Chief Financial Officer and Mr. Yao Sun as Vice President, Asia
Pacific Region.
