S&P Dow Jones Indices Announces Changes to the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices

A Deletion from the S&P/TSX Venture Composite and Venture Select Indices

TORONTO, May 29, 2014 /CNW/ - S&P Dow Jones Canadian Index Services will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices:

The shareholders of Sandstorm Metals & Energy Ltd. (TSXVN:SND) have agreed to the terms of a Plan of Arrangement with Sandstorm Gold Ltd. (TSX:SSL). Sandstorm Metals & Energy will be acquired by Sandstorm Gold for a combination of cash and shares. The shares of Sandstorm Metals & Energy will be removed from the S&P/TSX Venture Composite and Venture Select indices after the close of trading on Friday, May 30, 2014.
