Solitaire Minerals Corp. Director Resigns

Solitaire Minerals Corp. (TSX VENTURE:SLT) (Solitaire) reports that Mr. Bruce
Lock has resigned effective October 1, 2010 as director and CFO of the company
to pursue personal interests. The Company wishes to express its gratitude for
the contribution that Mr. Lock has made to the Company and wishes him well in
his future endeavors.


To fill the vacancy created by Mr. Lock's resignation, the Company has appointed
Mr. Doug McFaul as director and CFO of the Company. Mr. McFaul has 16 years
experience with companies involved in the public markets. Mr. McFaul has held
senior management positions with various public companies.

Canadian Mineral Exploration Company with a specific focus on precious and base
