SkyWest Energy Corp. Announces Management Change, Change of Auditors and Corporate Update

SkyWest Energy Corp. (TSX VENTURE:SKW) (the "Corporation") is pleased to
announce that it has promoted Steve Holyoake to the position of Vice-President,
Operations effective July 20.


The Corporation also announces that it has appointed Collins Barrow Calgary LLP,
Chartered Accountants as auditor of the Corporation effective June 22, 2010. The
Corporation's former auditor, BDO Canada LLP, Chartered Accountants resignation
was accepted by the Corporation effective June 22, 2010. 


The Corporation commenced drilling operations of its first Cardium horizontal
oil well in the south Pembina pool on July 17, 2010. A second Cardium horizontal
well is expected to be licenced within the next week in the Willesden Green
area.
