Sahara Energy Ltd. to Amend Option Exercise Price

Sahara Energy Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:SAH) ("Sahara" or the "Company") today announces
that it will, subject to approval by the TSX Venture Exchange ("TSXV") and the
shareholders of the Company ("Shareholders"), amend the exercise price of
options ("Options") to acquire common shares ("Common Shares") in the capital of
the Company, which were previously granted to certain officers, directors,
employees and consultants of the Company on January 24, 2011, in accordance with
the Company's stock option plan dated January 24, 2011 (the "Option Plan").


The Options will be amended, effective July 25, 2011, to amend the exercise
price of the Options from $0.21 to $0.10, being the current Market Price of the
Common Shares (as defined in the Option Plan). All other provisions of the
Options will remain the same.


Sahara will seek TSXV and Shareholder approval to amend the exercise price of
the Options.
