Redcliffe Announces Commencement of Drilling Program and Management Changes

Redcliffe Exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE:RXP.A) (TSX VENTURE:RXP.B) ("Redcliffe"
or the "Company") is pleased to announce the commencement of its summer drilling
program targeting multi-zone liquid-rich gas and oil in the Company's core
areas. Drilling commenced this week on the first of 3-5 gross wells in Pembina
and Medicine River, and the Company is currently planning a rig move in Gold
Creek in the Peace River Arch and expects to spud its first of 6-8 gross wells
this week. Redcliffe intends to drill a total of 11-16 gross wells during the
remainder of 2008, with its primary focus in the Peace River Arch area of
Alberta.


Redcliffe is also pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Wolfgang Rupf to the
Board of Directors, as well as the appointments of Mr. Geoffrey Upitis to the
position of Vice President, Exploration and Mr. Kevin MacInnes to the position
of Vice President, Engineering and Corporate Development. Mr. Rupf is a
significant shareholder in Redcliffe and will facilitate future European
financial involvement in the Company. Both Mr. Upitis and Mr. MacInnes have been
with the Company since its inception and through their technical expertise have
contributed greatly to its recent successes.


Redcliffe also wishes to announce that Mr. Bruce Hall, Vice President, Land,
resigned from the Company, effective May 31, 2008. The directors and management
wish to express their gratitude to Mr. Hall for his contributions to the Company
and we wish him well in his future endeavors.
