Ranger Energy Ltd. Announces Termination of Definitive Agreement

   RANGER ENERGY LTD. (TSX VENTURE: RGG) (the "Corporation") announces that it has terminated the definitive agreement dated June 25, 2010 (the "Agreement") with respect to the acquisition of certain assets from an Alberta based private company. Please refer to the Corporation's news releases dated March 31, 2010, June 8, 2010 and July 9, 2010 for further information with respect to this transaction. The Corporation continues to evaluate international resource opportunities.
