Ranger Energy Ltd. Announces Extention of Expiry Date of Outstanding Warrants

RANGER ENERGY LTD. (the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE ("TSXV"):RGG) is pleased to
announce that it has received approval from the TSXV for an extension of the
expiry date of certain of its outstanding common share purchase warrants (the
"Warrants"). On June 16, 2011 the TSXV approved the extension of the expiry date
of the 6,250,000 Warrants issued on June 25, 2010 and having an exercise price
of $0.30 per whole Warrant from June 25, 2011 to June 25, 2012. For further

releases of the Corporation dated March 31, 2010, June 8, 2010 and June 30, 2010
filed on SEDAR.


Warrantholders are advised that replacement Warrant certificates will not be
issued and that the original Warrant certificates must be presented to the
Corporation in order to effect the exercise or transfer of such Warrants.
