Standard & Poor's Announces Quarterly Review of S&P/TSX Preferred Share Index and the S&P/TSX Venture Select Index

 CIBC has announced that it will redeem all 18,000,000 shares of its  Non-Cumulative Class A Preferred Shares, Series 31  on  January 31, 2012. The shares of this issue will be removed from the  S&P/TSX Preferred Share Index and the S&P/TSX North American Preferred  Stock Index after the close of trading on Tuesday, January 31, 2012.
