                                 AGM Statement



Graham Wilson, Chairman of Parkdean Holidays plc, the Newcastle upon Tyne based
operator of twelve UK holiday parks in the West Country, South Wales and
Scotland, made the following comments at the Group's AGM held in Newcastle
today:



"Since reporting our preliminary results for the year ended 31 October 2002 in
January, Parkdean has continued to generate holiday hire revenue for the coming
season at a very satisfactory rate, in sharp contrast to other areas of both the
holiday market and the wider leisure market. Selling most of our holidays
directly to our customers rather than through agents has robustly underpinned
the overall level of holiday sales achieved to date.



In line with the Group's strategy the Board is continuing its search for
appropriate holiday park acquisitions.



Overall, we are pleased with the progress being made in the existing business
and we are looking forward to another year of continued growth."
