Olympia Financial Group Inc. - Third Quarter Earnings from Operations Increases 7%

    




 CALGARY, Nov. 21, 2011 /CNW/ - Olympia Financial Group Inc.   today announced its operating and financial results for the three month  period ended September 30, 2011.  The unaudited, interim financial  statements and notes, as well as management's discussion and analysis,  are now available on SEDAR (www.sedar.com). 

 Highlights for the three month period ended September 30, 2011 include  the following: 




        --  total revenue increased 16%, to $9.42 million from $8.09
            million, compared to the same quarter of the previous year;







        --  earnings before income tax increased 16%, to $1.97 million from
            $1.70 million, compared to the same quarter of the previous
            year;







        --  earnings from operations (after tax and interest) increased 7%,
            to $1.30 million from $1.21 million, compared to the same
            quarter of the previous year; and







        --  interest income increased 17%, to $0.98 million from $0.84
            million, compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
