Olympia Financial Group Inc. - Olympia Announces results of AGM

    




 CALGARY, June 14, 2012 /CNW/ - Olympia Financial Group Inc.   is pleased to announce that each of the resolutions presented at its  annual general and special meeting of shareholders were approved  today.  However, at the shareholders meeting it was announced that Mr.  Peterson would not be standing for re-election due to certain  regulatory requirements in the Province of Quebec that do not allow an  individual to serve on the boards of two different trust companies.   Upon learning of these regulations, Mr. Peterson graciously agreed to  step down from the Board in an effort to support our application to  become registered in Quebec. 

 With Mr. Peterson advising that he was not standing for re-election, the  shareholders resolved to elect the following ten individuals to the  Board:  Rick Skauge, Randy Gregory, Craig Skauge, Brian Newman, Charles  Chebry, Gerard Janssen, Russ Kalmacoff, Lyle Oberg, Gary Seveny and  Laurie Yaworski.
