Olympia Announces Year-End Results

CALGARY, March 22, 2013 /CNW/ - Olympia Financial Group Inc. (TSXV: OLY) today announced its operating and financial results for the year ending December 31, 2012.

The audited financial statements and notes, as well as management's discussion and analysis, are now available on SEDAR (www.sedar.com).

Highlights for the year ending December 31, 2012 include the following:

• total revenue increased 9%, to $41.84 million from $38.34 million, compared to the previous year;
• earnings from operations (before income tax and interest) increased 8%, to $3.36 million from $3.10 million, compared to the previous year;
• earnings before income taxes (including earnings from operations and interest) increased 7%, to $7.84 million from $7.36 million, compared to the previous year; and
• total interest increased 11% to $4.70 million from $4.22 million, compared to the previous year.
