CMQ ANNOUNCES RESULTS OF ANNUAL AND SPECIAL MEETING AND ELECTION OF NEW DIRECTOR

CALGARY, June 22, 2011 /CNW/ - CMQ Resources Inc. (TSXV: NV) ("CMQ") is
 pleased to announce that at CMQ's Annual and Special Meeting (the
 "AGM") held June 21, 2011, Mr. D. Alan Ross was elected as a new
 director of CMQ.  As a result of the AGM, Messrs. Odin Christensen,
 Ronald P. Mathison, Robert McKenzie and D. Alan Ross constitute CMQ's
 current Board of Directors.


CMQ additionally announces that approximately 94% of the votes cast at
 the AGM were cast in favour of each of the resolutions put forth at the
 AGM in respect of the approval of Matco Investments Ltd. ("Matco")
 becoming a de facto control person of the Corporation in the future and the future
 conversion of outstanding indebtedness owing to Matco into common
 shares of CMQ.  Each of such resolutions was additionally passed by
 greater than 80% of the votes cast at the AGM on a "majority of the
 minority" basis as required by the TSX Venture Exchange and applicable
 securities laws.
