Nile Industries Ltd. Announces Six Month Extension to Complete Its Qualifying Transaction

Nile Industries Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:NLE.P) ("Nile"), a capital pool company listed
on the TSX Venture Exchange Inc. ("TSXV") announced today that the TSX Venture
Exchange (the "Exchange") has granted its request for a six-month extension of
the time within which it is required to complete a Qualifying Transaction. The
deadline for such completion is therefore August 19, 2009. This relief has been
granted in accordance with the Exchange's recently issued bulletin dated
November 3, 2008, entitled Temporary Relief Measures.


The Company intends to complete its previously announced qualifying transaction
with Tiles From The Nile Ltd.
